Attention build-up (convergence)
The attention build-up (Convergence in the app) is an animation of how attention is predicted to develop over the first seconds. Simulated viewers start near the centre and move toward the most attention-grabbing areas until the picture settles into the final heatmap.
What it shows
The attention build-up, shown as Convergence in the app, replays how attention is predicted to develop over the first seconds of viewing your image. It is a playable overlay with a time counter.
What feeds it
The same predicted attention map as the heatmap. If you chose a platform, it uses your creative inside that platform's screen.
How it's built
Like real viewers, the simulated viewers start near the centre of the image and then move toward the most attention-grabbing areas. Each moment of the animation shows where they have looked so far. The animation stops once the picture settles into the final heatmap; its last frame is the heatmap. The timer shows approximate viewing time.
It is a simulation built on the predicted map, not a separate measurement.
Scale and direction
A time axis in approximate seconds of viewing. There is no score and no benchmark.
Image vs video
Images only.
