Instagram, Facebook and X
For Instagram, Facebook and X, Foresight shows your image or video as a square post in the app's feed, with the interface around it, and simulates attention on the whole screen. Non-square creatives are scaled down to fit. No comparison value is shown for a creative analysed on a platform.
What it is
Instagram, Facebook and X are platform options for both images and videos. In the setup they appear as Instagram "Feed post", Facebook "News Feed post" and X "Timeline post".
What the frame looks like
Foresight shows your creative as a square post in the app's feed, surrounded by the usual interface: profile header, call-to-action bar, like and comment row, caption and navigation bar. On these platforms the interface sits around the post, not on top of it, and it is shown in a simplified, softened form.
The post takes up only part of the phone screen; the rest is interface and background.
Because the post is square, a creative with a different shape is scaled down to fit, without cropping, and the free space is filled with the feed's background. A vertical video, for example, appears as a narrow strip inside the square, small on the screen.
What changes
- Attention KPIs (Focus, Spread, Clarity, Mental Demand, Attention) and therefore the E-Score are calculated on the whole screen, so they reflect how your post competes with the feed interface. Expect them to differ noticeably from an unframed run, especially for non-square creatives.
- Heatmap, fogmap and gaze plot are drawn on the framed view.
- Emotion results shift slightly: they are measured on your original file, then a small, fixed contribution from the feed interface is added.
- For images, the creative-type and sector comparison is removed: a framed image shows no comparison value. Videos show none with or without a platform.
