Sharing and teams

In short

Projects are private until you share them with members of your team. Shared projects appear under "Shared with me". The team owner invites colleagues from Settings → Team; seats depend on your licence. Use Team notes to comment on an analysis.

Teams

A team groups colleagues under one licence. Each team has an owner and members, and a number of seats set by your licence ("{used} / {total} active seats"). Teams are set up by Emotiva; you see yours in Settings → Team.

Inviting colleagues (owner only). In Settings → Team↗(opens Foresight in a new tab), enter the person's email:

• If they already use Foresight, they receive an invitation to accept or decline: in Settings → Team and by email.
• If the email is new, enter their name and company; Foresight creates their account and emails them.

A person can belong to one team only, and some teams accept only company email domains. If an invitation fails, the message tells you why: already a member, already in another team, invitation already pending, email domain not allowed, or no seats left. When all seats are used, contact your Emotiva account manager to add more. The owner can also remove members.

Sharing a project

Projects are Private by default, only you can see them.

1. Open the project's menu, or select several projects, and choose Share.
2. Switch to Shared with group.
3. Pick which team members can see it (all members are selected by default; use Select all to reset).

Colleagues find shared projects under Shared with me in Projects and on the dashboard, and they get a notification. To stop sharing, switch the project back to Private.

People you share a project with can open it, view its results and add team notes; only the owner can edit, rename, move or delete it.

You need to belong to a team to share. Only the owner of a project can change its sharing, and a project shared with you can't be re-shared. Projects can be shared once their analysis has finished.

Team notes

At the bottom of the right column on every analysis page, Team notes lets you comment on the results. Everyone who can see the project can read the notes; the owner and the people it's shared with get a notification when a note is added. You can delete your own notes.

How to read it

• Sharing works inside your team only. There are no public or external links: to share results outside your team, export a report.
• An analysis run by a colleague lives in their Projects. You see it only if they share it with you.

Common pitfalls

• "I can't see my colleague's campaign." Ask them to share it with you, then look under Shared with me.
• Notes on a private project are visible only to you.
• Seats and team changes go through your Emotiva account manager; they can't be bought in the app.
